This is my adaptation of the Mantis 9 CNC machine I found on the net. I scavenged some parts from my old Bluumax CNC Gantry Router I built, to make a better Z axis, as the one I had cut out was NOT straight in any way and I wasn’t too happy with the way it looked. I sacrifice some cutting area, but then again, this machine is not too big in the first place. I will probably only make Pendants, PCB’s, and misc little things with this machine. I figure it will be a good machine to cut my teeth on and learn CNC in general. I had The bluumax but I never took it very seriously to be honest.
Stay tuned!

Christien Meindertsma, this lady has seriously caught my eye, Anthology Magazine has just done an article about her, read it here. I do have a tiny penchant for really huge knitting, she’s one of the best at it.
